2026/27 Season allocation
Permits are allocated per species, per season, by the provincial wildlife departments. Pricing is set by that allocation — every hunt here is quoted on request. Once a tag is claimed it comes off this board. Sold out? Hit Alert me and you'll hear the moment one frees up.

Pakistan's markhor permits are awarded by provincial auction, and the bulk of the fee funds the village conservancies that protect the animals. We run our two tags the same way: submit a sealed bid, no payment now, and we contact the winning hunter directly when bidding closes.
Astor Markhor
Astore & Gilgit-Baltistan · one permit for the season
Bids close 8 September — two days before Gilgit-Baltistan's provincial auction on 10 September, so we can bid on your behalf with your offer committed. GB has set a $200,000 base price this season and last year's Astor tags ran to $370,000.
Bids are sealed — nobody sees another hunter's offer, and nothing is charged. We contact the successful bidder directly once bidding closes.
Kashmir Markhor
Chitral & Kohistan, KP · one permit for the season
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa auctions its Chitral tags separately and later than GB. A Kashmir Markhor permit sold for $270,000 earlier this year, so bids close 30 September to give us room to compete at the provincial auction.

Community conservancy program
Every trophy permit is issued under Pakistan's community-based conservation scheme — roughly 80% of the fee goes straight back to the villages that protect the herds. Markhor, ibex and urial numbers have climbed steadily because of it.
Permits, CITES & export handled
Provincial licence, trophy permit, firearm import papers and visa invitation are arranged before you fly. Markhor and urial are CITES-listed — we handle the export permit, veterinary certificate and crating on the back end.
Licensed guides & village shikaris
Government-licensed English-speaking PHs paired with local shikaris who have watched these specific animals for years. Hotel nights in the cities, field camps in the mountains.
Winter mountain hunting
Most seasons run November to April. Expect cold, steep, high country and long days behind glass. Train for it — the animals are worth it.
