Known worldwide as “Mr. Whitetail,” Larry Weishuhn has spent a lifetime as a professional wildlife biologist, hunting guide, outdoor writer, book author, and award-winning television host — and always a conservationist. He's a Professional Member of the Boone & Crockett Club, co-founder of the Texas Wildlife Association, longtime Dallas Safari Club Ambassador, and a member of the Legends of the Outdoors National Hall of Fame. With over sixty years of experience taking apart game, Larry designed what he considers “true” hunting knives — and chose Silver Stag to hand-craft them in the USA.
