You hunt 1×1 with professional guides using spot-and-stalk and horseback access between 6,000 and 12,000 feet, moving to tented spike camps for elevation-specific hunting. Choose a focused 7-day ibex or maral hunt, or the full 10-day Maral + Ibex combo. All-inclusive in the field — licenses, guiding, lodging, meals, horses, transfer from Almaty, interpreter, sat-phone and field trophy prep. U.S. passport holders need no visa for stays up to 30 days. Great experience overall. The Mid-Asian Ibex hunting was a grind and the weather tested us, but the guides were patient and put me on animals. Communication before the trip was outstanding. Would go again.
If you want it sugar-coated, look elsewhere — Dispatch tells you exactly what you're signing up for. The Mid-Asian Ibex hunt was demanding but incredibly rewarding, and every detail was buttoned up. Top-tier operation.
Can't say enough about this one. The Mid-Asian Ibex hunt in Tian Shan & Altai pushed me, but the crew took great care of us. Trophy care was excellent and the whole thing ran like clockwork. Already planning my next trip with them.
