It’s the same proven steel and heat treatment used throughout our lineup — chosen because it holds an edge through multiple animals without constant sharpening.

Blade Profile & Drop Point Performance

The Montana Drop Point Skinner features a true drop-point profile, keeping the tip in line with the cutting edge for excellent control and precision. This geometry makes it ideal for careful opening cuts, caping, and working around joints without puncturing hide or organs.
