What to Expect
Arrival and Preparation
To begin your adventure, you’ll fly into Terrace, BC, with most flights from the United States connecting through Vancouver. We recommend allowing at least four hours for customs clearance, especially if you’re bringing your rifle. Upon arrival in Terrace, our team will greet you and provide transportation to Kitimat, BC, a 45-minute drive away. You’ll stay at the Mstar Hotel in downtown Kitimat, conveniently located near restaurants and stores for any last-minute gear or supplies.
Into the Wild
The following morning, we’ll pick you up at 7:00 AM for a hearty breakfast before heading out to the hunting grounds. Depending on your hunt dates, you’ll either fly into an alpine lake or hike to a Ridgeline where our spike camp will be established. From here, you’ll spend the next several days spotting, stalking, and pursuing your mountain goat, while soaking in the raw beauty of the coastal mountains.
Once your goat is successfully harvested, we’ll transition into the second phase of the hunt. If you’re on a combination hunt, we’ll shift focus to calling and glassing for trophy-class Canadian moose. The coastal terrain offers prime habitat for these massive animals, making it an exceptional opportunity for a once-in-a-lifetime trophy.
Trophy Care & Departure
After your successful hunt, we handle all necessary trophy care, including skinning, caping, and preparing your goat for transport. We’ll also ensure that all required inspections are completed before delivering your trophies to a trusted taxidermist for shipping. You’ll then return to Kitimat for one final night at the Mstar Hotel before we provide transportation back to the airport for your departure.
